What a fun day! At KSJB we spent over six months helping to kick off Jamestown's 125'Th Anniversary Celebration with KSJB Town & Country Day on Monday June 30.
It all started with a Kiwanis pancake breakfast at the KC Hall. Mike Hergert and Randy Koenen were there to broadcast their regional "Country Morning" program on Red River Farm Network live from Jamestown.

The parade started at ten with entries including the Chamber of Commerce float, Agri Cover's huge van, a Farm Rescue tractor, Central Sale's impressive equipment, and 40 some wonderful antique tractors. And leading the pack was Bobby Gaye and Mike Hergert riding in a McCormick manure spreader supplied by AP Equipment, Valley City.

We caused a little traffic consternation, but what the heck..it's just once in 125 years! Many of us enjoyed the National Buffalo Museum, the Frontier Village, and buffalo BBQ's at the Frontier Fort.
The Civic Center buzzed all afternoon and evening with music by Spiritwood Creek and Julie Lee and the White Rose Band. The music was such a nice highlight to the day!
Another highlight was the hamburgers served by the Salvation Army. Thanks to North Dakota Natural Beef and North American Bison Co-op for the burgers and the Salvation Army for serving them.
125 brave souls walked up to the Video machine and tried for $125,000!!! No big winner, but 9 people won $125 each. Congratulations!
The dance was so much fun! The floor was crowded the whole time and just as many were sitting. Julie Lee and the White Rose Band was excellent.
KSJB would like to thank Paul Behle of our staff who personally handled 99% of the details for Town and Country Day and spent many months making the preparations. THANK YOU PAUL!
