The new program called Mollie B's Polka Party on RFD is about to begin taping bands beginning June 13, 2011. The first band to perform will be North Dakota's own Matt Hodek and the Dakota Dutchmen of Lankin!

Here is the information sent to us from Ted and Mollie:

Please join us as SqueezeBox, along with 26 other bands, travel to the Starlite Ballroom in Wahoo, Nebraska for the FIRST taping for the "Mollie B Polka Party" on RFD-TV, Monday, June 13 through Thursday, June 16, 2011.

Are you asking – what is "the ‘Mollie B Polka Party’ on RFD-TV?” RFD-TV is a national network that has been airing polkas for a decade. They recently asked Ted and I to join their team to help put together brand new polka shows. And we said “YES!” The first show that we are creative directors for and Mollie is hosting is the “Mollie B Polka Party.” This will replace their current show: “Polka Fest.” It will begin airing on July 2, 2011. Show times are Wednesday nights at 7:00 eastern/6:00 central, Thursday mornings 9:00 eastern/8:00 central, and Saturday nights at 10:00 eastern/9:00 central. We have other shows that will begin airing in November – more details on them will come later.

Our first taping will take place at the Starlite Ballroom, in Wahoo, NE, from June 13-June 16. We have 27 bands that we perform and provide dance music within 4 days (32 hours). Our 6-men camera crew will not only tape the bands in Hi-Def, but the dancers, too! We invite EVERYONE to come out and be a part of this great event! You can be dancing the polka on National TV. Now, if your feet are not up to dancing, but you simply wish to take in 27 great bands in 4 days, please come on out!!!

For tickets, call 888-657-3388 or visit www.Rfdtv.com/events-home. At this site you, can also find a list of hotels and campgrounds.
