ND Nonprofit Association Seeking Nominees

BISMARCK (submitted) – The North Dakota Association of Nonprofit Organizations (NDANO) invites nominations from the community for three state nonprofit awards: Walt Odegaard Leadership Award, Partnership Building Award and Emerging Leader Award. Anyone may submit nominations by the March 31deadline.

Throughout the state, people and organizations are serving and bettering our communities. NDANO is proud to recognize those making an impact in the North Dakota nonprofit sector,” says Tim Eissinger, NDANO president.

The Walt Odegaard Leadership Award is given to an individual who has made a difference by strengthening North Dakota and its nonprofit sector through his/her long-term commitment for more than 15 years to leadership, volunteerism, and/or philanthropy. The Emerging Leader Award recognizes an individual for their impact in less than 15 years of service.

The Partnership Building Award is given to an organization that has demonstrated community leadership and built partnerships within the North Dakota nonprofit sector. Nonprofits, for-profit businesses, government agencies and educational institutions are eligible for this award.
