JAMESTOWN - Jamestown Police are warning residents of a convicted high risk sex offender who is now living in the city.
Ian Winchester resides at 403 1st Avenue N. #4.  He does not have a vehicle. Winchester is currently on probation and not wanted by police.
He's a 34-year-old white male standing 6 feet 2 inches and weighing 180 pounds.  He has hazel eyes and brown hair.  His most recent file photo shows him with short-cropped hair, a receding hairline and slight beard.
Winchester was convicted in Escambia District Court, Florida, in January 2002 for Lewd and Lascivious Acts.  When he was 17, he fondled the breasts of a 13-year-old girl and attempted to digitally penetrate her while another teenager videotaped the acts.
Jamestown Police Chief Scott Edinger warns the public that any attempts to harass, intimidate or threaten Mr. Winchester, his family, landlord or employer will be turned over for prosecution.  Printed handouts of his demographics are available at the Jamestown Police Department.   More information on registered sex offenders is available on the Attorney General's website.
