State Rehabilitation Council Schedules Video Conference
BISMARCK, N.D. – The N.D. State Rehabilitation Council will meet on Fri., Jan. 10, 2014, from 1 to 4 p.m. (Central Time) by the means of eight video conference sites.

The public is invited to participate in the meeting from these locations.

Agenda items include updates from Vocational Rehabilitation staff on the council’s budget, annual report, order of selection, and reports from regional office administrators from Williston and Devils Lake. There will also be discussion on the committee’s roles and responsibilities, assignments for new members, and reports from committee chairs. The council meets quarterly to hear reports and to advise the N.D. Department of Human Services’ Division of Vocational Rehabilitation on issues relating to policy and strategic planning, and promoting increased employment opportunities for people with disabilities. The council consists of 15 members appointed by the governor including people with disabilities, community rehabilitation providers, independent living centers, representatives from various tribal and state agencies, and statewide business leaders.
