EDGELEY, ND – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has charged an Ellendale man injured in a rollover crash on Saturday.
The Patrol says 38-year-old Aaron Filbert was northbound on U.S. Highway 281 at a high rate of speed.
At 9:41 p.m. Saturday, Filbert failed to negotiate a slight curve in the highway on the south side of Edgeley. His Toyota Avalon left the roadway, rolled multiple times in the west ditch, and came to rest on its wheels on the frontage road.
The Edgeley Ambulance transported Filbert to Jamestown Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. He was airlifted to a Fargo hospital.
The Patrol says Filbert is charged with driving under the influence and the crash is under investigation.
The LaMoure County Sheriff’s Office, Dickey County Sheriff’s Office and Edgeley Fire Department also responded to the crash.
