On Thursday night (2-26) George Strait made a brief but memorable appearance at Bruce Springsteen‘s concert in Austin, Texas.
Without any introduction, George walked onto the stage to introduce Bruce. As his face appeared on the jumbotron, you could hear people yelling, “That’s George Strait!”
The two friends hugged and George said, “Austin, Texas! It's my honor tonight to introduce to you a man who really needs no introduction, right? Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band.”
He then walked off the stage and Bruce started the show. The Texas native did not return for a performance.
