Country legend, Randy Travis will release a new single, “Where That Came From,” on Friday, May 3rd. His first in more than a decade.
He’s been teasing the project on social media, along with other country stars, including Cody Johnson and Josh Turner. One teaser clip shows him in the studio listening to the new song for a few instrumental seconds. And in another, you can hear Randy singing for about 30 seconds.
He stated through a press release: “There were times I wondered if my days of recording new songs were behind me and the gift of getting back into the studio to record something new for y’all is something I’m deeply grateful for. This song is a special one and done differently than any of my previous recordings.”
With lifetime sales over 25 million, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Grand Ole Opry member has had 23 # 1 singles, 31 Top 10’s, and has won 11 Grammys.
