According to a report recently done by the USDA, it was found that the value all farmland and buildings located in the state of South Dakota is up around 6% this year at an average of $2,780 per acre.
That is an increase of about $150 dollars per acre compared to last year.
The report also stated that the average value of cropland in the state is now $4,350 per acre, with pastureland at around $1,270 per acre.
