Tim Karsky will be the new person to lead North Dakota’s Security Department as the Head of Securities. According to a press release, Karsky will oversee the regulation of securities, which are financial assets that can be traded, which is to ensure transactions comply with state laws.
Karsky will move in for current Securities Commissioner Karen Tyler, who also holds another job as executive director of the North Dakota Industrial Commission.
The Securities Department has recently dealt with Epic Companies collapse and the Agridime Ponzi scheme that left investors in the state out of millions.
