
Postgame Interview with South Border head coach Jamie Bittner
After two big losses to begin the year, South Border’s girls basketball team bounced back for a 54-46 win over Enderlin (0-4) on Thursday in the Barnes County Girls Basketball Tournament.
South Border’s star guard Macy Monson led the way, dropping a team high 32 points. Monson hit 12-of-14 attempts at the free throw line, and collected 24 rebounds.
The third day of the Barnes County Girls Basketball Tournament concludes the action in Valley City. South Border will face Wyndmere-Lidgerwood at 4:30 p.m. in the fifth place game. Enderlin will play at 3:00 p.m. against White Shield in the seventh place game.
South Border and Enderlin will play in a rematch on Dec. 19 at 6:00 p.m.
