Tim McGraw took to Instagram on Thursday (January 16) to share a video announcement for his historic upcoming show at the iconic Field of Dreams site in Dyersville, Iowa. On August 30, the country superstar will perform the first-ever concert held at the picturesque location where Kevin Costner’s beloved 1989 movie Field of Dreams was filmed. The baseball tie-in is a natural fit for the singer, whose late father was Tug McGraw, a relief pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies 1980 World Series winning team. In fact, the special show will be taking place on the day of Tug’s birthday.
