Extreme cold and high wind warnings issued in North Dakota

Life-threatening wind chills, potentially reaching -50°F, are forecast for much of North Dakota from Saturday through Tuesday morning. Winds are forcast to be 35-45 miles per hour, with gusts up to 65 miles per hour. Frostbite is possible in as little as 10 minutes at these temperatures. Residents are urged to dress warmly and check on vulnerable individuals.
