According to Mike Berman of NBC 5 in Chicago, former South Dakota State quarterback Mark Gronowski’s NIL deal with the Iowa Hawkeyes is seven figures large, giving him at least one million dollars for the 2025 season.

Gronowski lost to the North Dakota State Bison in the FCS National Semifinal in Fargo back in December but played four seasons at SDSU and guided the program to national championships in 2022 and 2023.

Gronowski is not expected to see the field in the Spring as he deals with an injury, and Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz said he will start on field team workouts in June.
