Cori Clingman was indicted on Thursday in an accident that occured on July 6 that killed Minnesota Vikings rookie cornerback Khyree Jackson and two of his high school teammates.
Clingman was indicted on 13 counts, with those indictments including vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence. According to State’s Attorney Aisha Braveboy, Clingman could face up to 30 years in prison if convicted. Jackson and Isaiah Hazel died at the scene of the crash while Anthony Lytton Jr. died at the hospital.
Jackson was a fourth-round draft pick by the Vikings in April. He played two years at Alabama before finishing his college career with one season at Oregon. Hazel played at Maryland Charlotte, and Lytton played at Florida State and Penn State.
