A 20-year-old Montana motorcyclist was killed after a man driving a truck failed to yield and struck the motorcycle on Saturday.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the crash happened just after 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of Second Avenue West and Second Street West in Williston. The motorcyclist was driving his 2020 Yamaha off-road motorcycle west on Second Street West when 46-year-old Maverick Stanton tried to make a turn and hit the motorcycle.
The Montana man was taken to Trinity Hospital in Minot, North Dakota. He died at the hospital. Stanton was not injured but was arrested for driving under the influence.
