North Dakota lawmakers introduce bill that could give all K-12 students meals at no charge

Other lawmakers have raised concerns about the long-term sustainability of the program and if the state can afford the cost.

If passed through the Legislature, North Dakota students would begin receiving free meals in July 2025.
