A man from the state of Arkansas was arrested in South Dakota after standing off with police at a residence in Tripp County, South Dakota.
According to reports, Law enforcement officers were given a warrant to arrest and search the home of Rodney Carnes, a 54-year-old who was wanted on charges in Arkansas. Police say that Carnes fired several shots from a firearm but nobody was hurt. After about three hours, Carnes exited the residence and was taken into custody.
The South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation, FBI and Tripp Country Sheriff’s Office are investigating the incident.
