Jelly Roll has just notched his seventh No.1 hit on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart with his recent single, “Liar.” Jelly Roll co-wrote the track along with Ashley Gorley, Ben Johnson, and Taylor Phillips, and it was produced by Zach Crowell. “Liar” is the second single lifted from Jelly’s 2024 record, Beautifully Broken, which debuted at No.1 on both the Top Country Albums and Billboard 200 charts. With “Liar” reaching No.1 in just 14 weeks, Jelly Roll has marked his fastest run to the top of the charts, while tying with Kane Brown for the longest active streak of seven consecutive No.1 hits on Country Airplay. Additionally, “Liar” becomes only the second song ever to top both the Country Airplay and Mainstream Rock Airplay charts, following Jelly Roll’s previous crossover hit, 2023’s “Need a Favor.” (Billboard)
