A regional flight from Minnesota overturned while attempting to land at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport. 18 people were injured, at least two seriously, but nobody was killed.
Delta Flight 4819, operated by subsidiary Endeavor Air, took off from Minneapolis-St. Paul International airport at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. It crash landed at 2:15 in Toronto.
Video shows the plane, a Bombardier CRJ 900, flipping completely upside down before skidding to a violent stop. Passengers were seen exiting the overturned plane with the assistance of the flight crew, while emergency crews rushed to respond.
The National Transportation Safety Board, FAA, and TSB of Canada are investigating the incident.
