The cold weather is setting records across North Dakota.
Bismarck broke a 150-year old record-low on Monday, February 17, bottoming out at -35 degrees. The previous record low for that date was -30 in 1875.
Bismarck and multiple areas set records again yesterday, with the -39 in Bismarck, -33 in Minot, -36 in Dickinson, and -45 in Antelope Creek all hitting never-before-seen marks.
The Jamestown area was cold, but February of 2019 was even colder in the city.
The lowest wind chill in the state was recorded in Crosby, touching -61 degrees on Monday morning.
