Three people are dead after a shooting on the Spirit Lake Indian Reservation in North Dakota on Tuesday morning. A suspect was arrested around 1:20 p.m. after three tribal members were killed.
There was a temporary shelter-in-place effect for all reservations, but this has since been lifted. A lockdown was also put in place for the hospital in Devils Lake and the school in Minnewaukan. The Bureau of Indian Affairs and the FBI are investigating.
As of 1:00 on Wednesday afternoon, the suspect has not been identified and the tribe has not released the names of the victims.
