Agricultural cooperative CHS has awarded grants to ten rural communities across the U.S. to improve safety and essential services.
The CHS Foundation provided grants of up to $15,000, with final recipients chosen through a vote at the 2024 CHS annual meeting.. Major awards included $10,000 to a Minnesota fire department to purchase a rescue trailer and $5,000 for Jamestown Parks and Recreation in North Dakota to build an inclusive park and playground.
These grants reflect a broader commitment to sustaining rural communities by addressing essential needs, fostering resilience, and promoting inclusive development.
