Twins hit with second loss in four game series in Kansas City Tuesday

The Minnesota Twins lost to the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday, 2-1.

Royals pitcher John Schreiber earned the win with 1.2 scoreless innings late in the game. Twins pitcher Griffin Jax took the loss despite not allowing an earned run. Kansas City scored a run on a fielder’s choice play in the fourth and a ground out to first in the eighth.

The series continues at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday.
