The Minnesota Wild clinched a playoff spot with a 3-2 overtime win over the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday.
As a result, the Wild completed the 2024-25 regular season with a 45-30 record. Star Matt Boldy clinched the playoff spot for the Wild with the game winning goal at 4:42 in overtime. Marcus Johansson assisted the goal and scored his own in the first period.
The Wild will begin the playoffs against the Vegas Golden Knights. The NHL playoffs begin Saturday.
