Fargo South senior Lucas Lamb celebrated his final chemotherapy treatment for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Monday, but with mixed emotions after burglars recently stole his tenor saxophone. The rare JL Woodwinds Artist Series instrument, one of only two like it in the state, was taken just months before Lamb heads to college in Texas on a music scholarship. “I’m bummed but it would hurt me more if they sold it,” said Lamb, who discovered the theft while preparing to play at an Easter service. Despite this setback, he marked the end of his six-month cancer journey by ringing the ceremonial bell at Sanford Health, surrounded by his medical team. A community benefit for Lamb is scheduled for May 3rd at KingPinz in Fargo.
