Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Anthony Edwards has been fined $50,000 by the NBA for inappropriate language and making an obscene gesture towards a fan during the Timberwolves Game 1 victory of the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday.
The incident occurred with 4:33 remaining in the third quarter of the Timberwolves win.
After Game 2 Tuesday night, the ‘Wolves will host Game 3 in Minneapolis on Friday night at 8:30 p.m.
