Jamestown Jimmies men’s and women’s golf teams place well at NDGA Open

The Jamestown Jimmies finished in first place at the NDGA Open in Bismarck.

The men’s golf team was lead by Gehrig Geiss who took second place individually after rounds of 72 and 76. Dickinson State finished second behind Jamestown, with the top finisher Blake Barner at +1.

The men will compete in the NSAA Spring Conference Championship in Lincoln, Nebraska at the Woodland Hills Country Club on April 28 and 29.

On the women’s side, the ladies finished second of five teams a the same event. Dickinson State took first place. For the women, Jamestown’s Ellie Garavaglia finished second-place individually with a total score of +19 and a low first round of 76.
