A frightening incident occurred Tuesday at the Fargo Downtown Engagement Center when Isaac Swift Bird allegedly threatened staff with what appeared to be a handgun after complaining about housing issues. According to the homeless outreach coordinator, Swift Bird revealed the weapon while making verbal threats, yelling at others, and throwing food. Police later apprehended him near the downtown library when he attempted to hide the object in another man’s wheelchair. The item was revealed to be a BB gun. Swift Bird now faces charges of terrorizing with a dangerous weapon and carrying a concealed weapon, with a court date set for June 5th.
