U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested seven men aged 21-60 during a traffic stop in Fargo on Tuesday. According to CBP spokesman Steven Bansbach, the operation specifically targeted individuals “considered to pose a public safety risk.” The suspects were transferred to Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Enforcement and Removal Operations. An eighth person in the vehicle, confirmed to be a U.S. citizen, was released. Border Patrol stated they will ensure illegal aliens are detained until their immigration cases are adjudicated and they are removed from the country.
