Man injured as pickup collided with train in West Fargo, dragged 100 feet

The North Dakota Highway Patrol told Valley News Live that a train and vehicle collided yesterday morning in West Fargo at 11:22 a.m. A 34-year-old man from Valley City was driving a pickup westbound in the eastbound lanes of 12 Ave NE when he hit the train. His vehicle was dragged around 100 feet, eventually coming to rest along the railroad tracks. The driver sustained injuries and was transported to Sanford Hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
