The Minnesota Twins were trying to get another streak going after their first loss in two weeks to the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday.

The Twins had a 2-1 lead over the Cleveland Guardians yesterday evening before the game was called for a rain delay, lingering rain continued, and the team announced that they will finish Game 1 of the series that was called in the bottom of the fourth inning today at about 5:10 p.m. and will play Game 2 of the series 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

Ty France and Willie Castro each had a hit and an RBI before the game was called, and starting pitcher Bailey Ober allowed 3 hits and 1 run.

This is a big series for both teams as they are trying to keep pace with the red hot Detroit Tigers in the AL Central division, Minnesota entered the series skyrocketing up to second place after their 13 game win streak, followed by Cleveland in third just a game behind Minnesota.
