Finley-Sharon Public School held an unusual graduation ceremony Sunday with a graduating class of just one student. Bryson Kirk was the sole graduate, though he wasn’t alone in classes throughout high school, often learning alongside students from lower grades with class sizes reaching up to seven students. The school year began with two seniors, but one dropped out, leaving Bryson as the only graduate. In a touching moment, his mother Penny Kirk presented him with his diploma during the ceremony. Bryson, who appreciated the small classroom environment, plans to work as a mechanic at Finley Motor Sports, utilizing skills he developed in his high school classes.
