Unconfirmed reports this morning say that the body of a missing Linton woman has been found.
Family and friends of 39-year-old Heather Caras posted on social media over the weekend that her body had been recovered. Caras has been missing since late January.
Investigators say they found her pickup truck at Beaver Bay with the keys in the ignition after she went missing. Deputies also say that it’s likely Caras initially left willingly with somebody she knew. The Emmons County Sheriff’s Department has yet to confirm the reports, and we will update the story when we learn more.
