A child was found safe after being reported missing near the Sheyenne River in Horace, North Dakota on Tuesday evening.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that they responded to a report of an abandoned bike and fishing pole around 5:00 p.m.. Deputies began a search along with drone assistance and help from Valley Water Rescue.
The child was reported found by a family friend later in the evening.
