A delegation of animal feed industry leaders from Cambodia and Kazakhstan visited North Dakota recently as part of a trade mission organized by the World Initiative for Soy in Human Health, the visit aimed to highlight the nutritional value of U.S. soybean meal, particularly its essential amino acid profiles, through classroom learning and interactive sessions to help participants assess its cost-effectiveness in their operations.
The visitors toured a soybean farm, met with U.S. exporters and processors, and visited loading facilities to better understand the supply chain and logistics of U.S. soy.
Supported by checkoff and USDA funds, the visit fostered connections that could help grow U.S. soy’s market presence overseas and strengthen long-term trade relationships.
