A new conservative organization called the Freedom League of North Dakota launched Wednesday at the state Capitol in Bismarck.

The group describes itself as “unapologetically conservative” and plans to work within the Republican Party to train activists, mentor candidates, and advocate for conservative policies.

Interim Executive Director Rob Muntz said the organization aims to “organize the energy of conservatives across North Dakota into something lasting.” The group’s principles include individual liberty, limited government, lower taxes, gun rights, and traditional family values.

The Freedom League will hold its inaugural convention in August to adopt policy platforms and elect leadership. Individual memberships range from $25 to $5,000, with corporate sponsorships available from $500 to $10,000.
