Local support for a roundabout in Jamestown has won over the North Dakota Department of Transportation.
The NDOT say they’ve approved the roundabout for the intersection U.S. Highway 52 and 10th Street Southeast. Local leaders including Mayor Dwaine Heinrich had supported that roundabout over other options.
The project will include the replacement of two aging bridges on Business Loop West, and restriping work.
The NDOT says the project will cost approximately $10 million.
