North Dakota State University Extension is offering summer training sessions for pig producers to renew their Pork Quality Assurance and Transport Quality Assurance certifications. These programs aim to promote proper animal care, enhance pork quality, and ensure safe working and environmental practices.

PQA focuses on animal health and farm safety, while TQA teaches best practices for safely transporting pigs to protect their well-being and product quality.

Led by NDSU Extension swine specialists these certification sessions will be held at various locations across North Dakota. Producers can view the schedule and register at ndsu.ag/pqatrainings. After registering, participants will receive email instructions for recertification.
