North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has announced that five agricultural projects will receive a total of $1,084,000 through the Agriculture Diversification and Development (ADD) Fund.
The awards were approved at the fund’s quarterly meeting on May 28 in Minot. The ADD Fund supports financially feasible, value-added agriculture ventures that promote job creation and economic growth in North Dakota.
Some of the recipients include GMG Ranch LLP ($200,000 for cattle finishing), American Crystal Sugar Company ($300,000 for improved sugar crystallization), Qual Dairy Inc. ($100,000 for a semi-automated milking system), The next ADD grant hearing will be held July 23–24, 2025, in Medora, with applications due by July 1.
