North Dakota communities will participate in a nationwide “No Kings” day of action on Saturday, June 14th – Flag Day – to protest authoritarianism and President Trump’s policies. Eight cities across the state – including Bismarck, Fargo, Grand Forks, Minot, and others – will host rallies, protests, and community events from 10 AM to 3 PM at various locations like state capitol grounds and city halls. The events are organized by local volunteers as part of a national coalition of pro-democracy groups, with a commitment to nonviolent action. Activities include theatrical performances, food drives, and peaceful demonstrations, with participants encouraged to bring signs and flags to honor Flag Day while showing opposition to what organizers call authoritarian policies.
