During meetings with British government officials, American Farm Bureau Federation President Zippy Duvall stressed the importance of finalizing a new U.S.-U.K. trade deal to expand market access for American agricultural products, including ethanol.
Duvall met with the U.K.’s Department for Business and Trade and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs emphasizing that American farmers produce a healthy, abundant food supply appreciated worldwide and noted that U.S. and U.K. food systems have more similarities than differences.
He also met with Ambassador Warren Stephens to discuss collaborative efforts in pursuing new trade opportunities that will support both American and international food security.
