Attorney General Drew Wrigley says he’s been briefed on the “very troubling” murder case involving a 3-year-old autistic girl who died in Stanley in March. Foster parents Raymond Johnson, 62, and Jamie Johnson, 44, were arrested Friday and charged with murder, child abuse, and domestic violence. Court records show Ring camera footage allegedly captured the Johnsons striking or kicking the girl, and a preliminary autopsy indicates she died from blunt force trauma according to investigators. Both defendants are held on $1 million bond each and are scheduled to return to court in late July. Wrigley assured the public that law enforcement is “fully engaged” in pursuing the investigation.
