During a recent appearance on the Big D and Bubba Show, Riley Green addressed the uproar caused by his decision to shave his iconic mustache. The country star confessed that he hadn’t realized the impact it would have, joking about the privileges and respect the mustache had afforded him. “Every year in the summer, I shave,” Green revealed. “I like to get a little sun on my face. I didn’t realise that this year I was the mustache guy, you know? It was a big deal.” Following the unveiling of his clean-shaven face, social media erupted as fans mourned the loss of his fashionable trademark, but Green good-naturedly acknowledged the teasing while poking fun at himself. “I saw somebody say I went “from ‘Tombstone’ to finance,” Green joked. The lighthearted interview concluded with the hosts making playful references to his dating life, even getting Green to shave one of the show’s producers. (Holler)
