The Cass County Sheriff’s Office announced a seizure of drugs including methamphetamine.
Sheriff Bryan Welk says an investigation into drug trafficking in and around Cass County and the Leech Lake Indian Reservation led to the discovery of what Welk described as a significant amount of methamphetamine, paraphernalia, and other drugs.
The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives and the FBI assisted in the seizure, and are also assisting in the ongoing investigation. The National Postal Service also provided assistance.
Welk said the investigation remains ongoing and they are not releasing names of suspects or those possibly arrested at this time due.
