A chaotic incident unfolded in downtown Fargo on Thursday, June 19, when 34-year-old Peter Isaac Isensee allegedly stepped into a busy intersection and began hurling knives and rocks at passing cars. According to East Central District Court filings, the disturbance occurred around 11:47 a.m. at 10th Street and First Avenue South. One victim had to swerve to avoid Isensee, who then threw a large tactical knife at her white Honda HR-V from ten feet away. The blade pierced the windshield hilt-first, creating a baseball-sized hole and embedding about a foot from the driver’s head. Court records detail at least three additional vehicles damaged by objects Isensee allegedly threw, including rocks and knives that cracked windows and windshields. The rampage continued to a nearby intersection where Isensee reportedly threw a bicycle into traffic before launching more knives at vehicles.
