Multiple relief efforts are launching to help North Dakota communities recover from the devastating June 20 storms. The North Dakota Community Foundation has established a new storm relief fund, with Bank North of Enderlin contributing $5,000 to jumpstart the initiative.

Kevin Dvorak, CEO of the North Dakota Community Foundation, explains that his organization has been supporting disaster relief since the 1997 flood. They work closely with state and local emergency management groups to identify funding gaps at the community level and provide direct support to response teams and organizations helping storm victims across the region.

The foundation’s approach focuses on filling financial gaps that other relief programs might miss, ensuring comprehensive support reaches the hardest-hit communities. People wanting to contribute to the recovery efforts can make donations through the North Dakota Community Foundation’s website. These coordinated fundraising efforts represent the community spirit and mutual aid that often emerges after natural disasters, providing crucial financial resources to help families and businesses rebuild from the widespread storm damage.
