Joe Ryan Named to AL All-Star Team

After being one of the listed “Snubs” of the 2025 All Star Game, Joe Ryan is making a mark on his career by being selected as a replacement for the American League.

Ryan will replace Houston Astro’s Starting pitcher Hunter Brown, giving him his first career selection to the All Star Team.

Ryan has been a Bright shining light on the Twins’ up and down season. Through 17 starts Ryan holds a 8-4 record with a 2.76 ERA, collecting 117 strikeouts and a WHIP of 0.89 which is third in the Major League. Ryan is ranked currently in the Top 20 of major pitching statistics.

Joe Ryan will join Byron Buxton in Atlanta during the All Star Game with the break beginning on Monday July 14th with the MLB Home Run Derby that Buxton will be participating in, with the All Star Game to follow on Tuesday where Buxton and Ryan will each make appearances.
