
The University of Jamestown will induct four athletes into its Athletic Hall of Fame during Homecoming weekend October 3rd-5th.
The inductees:
Aleona Reyes ’16 was a three-time NAIA cross country All-American who set school records and ranks in the top 10 in multiple track events. She helped lead three DAC conference championship teams.
Sarah Becker ’14 led the nation in volleyball hitting percentage in 2013, ranking seventh all-time in NAIA history. The two-time All-American was conference player of the year and now works as a therapist in Minnesota.
Mandi Krueger ’98 won individual NDCAC and NAIA Great Plains region championships in cross country, qualifying for nationals all four years. She earned 15 All-Conference honors and now works in real estate in Colorado.
Sam Joseph ’06 ranks among top Jimmie baseball players despite only two seasons, finishing second all-time in doubles, home runs, and RBIs. He’s the only two-year player with over 100 career RBIs and works for the North Dakota Department of Corrections.
Tim Graf will receive the Rollie Greeno Award for education and coaching, while the late Lynette Fitterer will posthumously receive the Jim Clark Award for servant leadership.
The induction ceremony begins at 5 p.m. Friday, October 3rd, with tickets available for $20 at uj.edu.
