Jamestown will conduct mosquito fogging in the northeast and northwest areas of the city Sunday evening, July 13th, beginning at approximately 9 p.m.

The fogging comes as recent rains have increased mosquito activity, prompting the city’s vector control program to begin regular treatments. Bill Laskowski, who oversees mosquito control, uses ten traps positioned around town to monitor populations and determine when fogging is necessary.

Residents should keep children and pets indoors during fogging operations, and motorists should use caution in affected areas. The schedule depends on weather conditions and wind speeds. For more information, visit JamestownND.gov or call 701-320-5503.
